VETtherm® HERBA-X. Herbal Feed Supplements based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

TCM approaches herbals in quite a different way - each herb has its specific feature in matters of:

•     Flavour
•     Thermal properties
•     Reference to inner organs

Each TCM herbal formula consists of a well-defined percentaged composition. The "monarch herbs" (herbs containing the most important features) should have the lion´s share. It is supported by the "minister herbs". Undesirable effects are improved or neutralised by the "assistant herb". The "envoy herb" finally transports the other herbs to the body part of imbalance.

Meeting these criteria created a whole new product line of feed supplements: VETtherm® HERBA-X.

'SHEN YANG XU' means 'kidney-yang-emptiness'

Basically the TCM looks at the organs in terms of function and interaction with the other organs. This holistic point of view is referred as the "5-Organs-Network".

From the TCM point of view the kidney meridian (water element) is the most important one within the system. It forms the basis to all other meridians and their related organs.

The water element regulates growth, birth, and reproduction. It is also related to bones and joints, teeth and nerves, as well as fear and anxiety as far as the emotional behaviour is concerned.

Ingredients: XIAO HUI XIANG (fructus foeniculi / fennel), SHEN JIANG (zingiberis rhizoma recens / ginger), ROU GUI (cortex Cinnamomi / cinnamon), REN SHEN (radix. ginseng / ginseng), GAN CAO (radix glycyrrhizae / liquorice), Herba Thymi (thyme), Fructus Anis (anise)

Usage: Once a day or as needed (with common food)

Why GROUND herbs?

Common herbal formulas contain mostly isolated cut herbs. These herbs often lose their best composition rate, because the lighter ones (leaves) divide from the heavy ones (e.g. root parts). A formula consisting of ground herbs always guarantees the ideal mixing ratio.
Horses often are ´specialists` when it comes to seperating their feeding in its components. The less tasting herbs will stay in the feeding trough! Due to the minimal sufficient doses of the VETtherm® herbal supplements and their high acceptance we avoid this problem.
